Chiropractic has been the underpinning of my health practice for over 20 years and I continue to love working with structure and balance. I give muscles and bones equal attention and employ nutritional support, exercise and lifestyle strategies to help achieve your health goals. Our work is gauged to your body’s energy needs and your comfort. My tools include manual (diversified) manipulation, low force instrument adjusting, blocking and drop table techniques. Our sessions allow enough time for you to relax into your treatment and often end with a period of integration under moist heat.
As a 2010 graduate of the two year long Health Coaching program at the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality and Healing, I’m part of a group that is pioneering a new paradigm in health care. Health coaches help design plans that address physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues. We assist you in uncovering and understanding the beliefs and behaviors that hold you hostage to patterns that prevent you from reaching your health goals. When we acknowledge that you are the ultimate authority on your health and that you hold the wisdom about your individual path to healing, everything changes.
With hundreds of hours of continuing education in nutrition and lifestyle management I still haven’t found the magic that makes eating right simple. What I have learned is that, in this environment of stress and toxicity, it is critical to pay attention to self care and nutrition. Through nutritional assessment and dialogue, we seek to identify and minimize stressors while enhancing physiologic function. The most important indicator of our success in this area is that you feel better and you know it! I utilize quality supplements, when appropriate, that are potency guaranteed and reasonably priced.
As a certified instructor of Kundalini Yoga I integrate yoga principles into all facets of my practice. Postures, mantras and meditations are amazing tools for transformation and can be put to use in all areas of life. In addition to utilizing yoga techniques in my health practice, I also teach yoga on an individual basis to help you develop a practice you can take home and grow.
Jane’s Health Tip:
Taking a minute to focus on gratitude is a great way to shift your energy in a positive direction. Try listing 3 things you’re grateful for each day and see how it feels.
